We (two couples) have just returned from one of the most enjoyable and pleasant stays that any of us have had in a hotel in many years.

Domotel Agios Nikolaos is in a wonderful location about a 20 minute walk from the charming village of Sivota.

I imagine all of the rooms have a wonderful view of the azure sea – ours certainly did. The suite consisted of a living room, bedroom, bathroom and two balconies.

The rooms were well appointed. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The breakfasts were very good.

There are always some niggles – but we spent two very happy weeks here. Our thanks go all of the staff.

Since 2002 and every year during the summer, the outdoor patio of the monastery, just across the Domotel Les Lazaristes, takes place the established Festival of Lazaristes Monastery.

Today the "Festival of Lazaristes Monastery" has broadened the field of activities in all its forms and manifestations of art, all summer long.

On a daily basis, Lazaristes Monastery is "a living cell of culture and entertainment that attracts fans of all ages and tastes.

The outdoor area is a stage painted and designed appropriately, in order to highlight the individual sites and activities which are hosted.

The activities are divided into specific themes including music, dance, theater, video, art, artistic bazaar etc."

During the months of June, July, August and September 2010, the events of the Festival attended approximately 26,000 visitors.
